TEEN SHABBAT DINNER!
All families with students in 7th-12th grade are invited to shabbat dinner, next Friday
night, January 19th
. This is a wonderful opportunity to talk about ways to stay involved in the Jewish community beyond religious school and b’nai mitzvah preparation. As we talk about ways to remain involved we will talk about the generous L’dor Vador award which is a partnership between the Women’s League at SPS and the congregation. Please RSVP to Lesley

We encourage you to join us whenever you can at Friday night services but especially on January 26. Following services, there’ll be a Shabbat Dinner featuring a “Taste of Israel” theme.

Each SPS member family received a copy of My Jewish Year: 18 Holidays, One Wondering Jew, written by Abigail, thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our devoted member Irving Sitnick. Abigail will discuss her latest book, which chronicles her experience researching and observing every holiday in the Jewish Calendar.
Israel Trip Update:
We will be booking flights in the coming weeks but before doing so, we need to know how many families are planning on coming on the trip.
