Giving Season: Shabbappy Hour
Friday, December 8 following SPS Shabbat services

We encourage you to join us whenever you can at Friday night services but especially on December 8. Following services, there’ll be a cocktail reception with drinks and hors d’oeuvres, plus a special Holiday season program.

As this is a Social Action-based evening, we will be inviting representatives from a group of “giving” organizations to discuss their missions and tell us how our donations can help them in their work.

Sotheby’s Judaica Tour

Join other YP’s on a tour of the Judaica Exhibition at Sotheby’s with expert Judaica specialists. The tour will be divided up into 3 segments:

  1. Israeli Art – Led by Jennifer Roth or Sigal Mordechai
  2. Silver – Led by John Ward and Kevin Tierney
  3. Books & Manuscripts – Led by Sharon Mintz

The event is free & we are capping the attendance to 20 people.

Taste of Israel Shabbat Dinner

We encourage you to join us whenever you can at Friday night services but especially on January 26. Following services, there’ll be a Shabbat Dinner featuring a “Taste of Israel” theme.

Come join us to try some authentic Israeli cuisine as we welcome in Shabbat together. Enjoy the flavors, sights and recipes of the most unique place on earth!

Hamantaschen Bake-Off
Monday, February 26 at 7 pm

Are you ready to get in the Purim spirit? Come get your hands dirty and make some delicious Hamantaschen, learn a little bit about Purim, and enjoy the company of other Young Professionals.

We ask for every attendee to bring a bottle of wine with you to the event for 2 purposes:

  1. Act as a rolling pin for your dough
  2. Pop the cork and drink while your Hamantaschen are baking!
