Torah Fund is the dedicated philanthropy of Women’s League for Conservative Judaism for supporting Jewish learning at the highest levels. We help to train future rabbis, cantors, educators, and leaders of the Jewish world. We support the Jewish Theological Seminary, New York, New York; Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies, Los Angeles, California; Schechter Institutes, Jerusalem, Israel; Seminario Rabinico Latinoamericano, Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Zacharias Frankel Rabbinical College, Potsdam, Germany.
Donors of $180 or more to the Torah Fund campaign receive a pin/pendant featuring a special design. This year to celebrate the 100th year of the Women’s League and the 75th year of the Torah Fund the theme is “pri yadeha”, which means “the fruit of her hands”, to pay tribute to women’s achievements and creativity in the family, the workplace, the home, the synagogue, and the community.
Many people have found this a wonderful way to commemorate special events in their own lives and to honor family members and friends for their birthdays and other notable occasions. The emphasis in the design on women’s contributions makes it especially meaningful for holidays, such as Chanukah and Mother’s Day.
Please contact Dr. Susan Gitelson, Torah Fund Chair, to learn more at 212-794-2852 or email@example.com.
