Holidays & Festivals

We love our holidays and festivals at Sutton Place Synagogue.

Join us for our annual Shavuot Dinner and Talk on Saturday, May 26. We'll have a traditional dairy dinner and welcome Rabbi Moshe Edelman as our Shavuot scholar and visiting rabbi, for "Shabbat & Shavuot." Rabbi Edelman will address "Faith, Family and Friendship: Megillat Ruth" -- a contemporary look at ancient challenges.

This even is free for our members, and $36 for non-members. Advanced reservations are required, and can be made by contacting our synagogue office. The evening is sponsored by the Fanny Stricks Jackson and Nathaniel H. Jackson Memorial Lecture Fund.

Additional Shavuot services will be held at 9 am on Sunday, May 27; and 9 am and 5:45 pm on Monday, May 28. A Yitzkor Memorial Service will take place at 11:15 am on Monday, May 28.
