On Friday night, November 6th, Sutton Place Synagogue will commemorate Kristallnacht, the horrific pogram against Jews throughout Nazi Germany on the 9th and 10th of November, 1938.

Rabbi Ain, Cantor Kanfer, distinguished guests and Kol Rinah, our adult community choir, will lead a service that celebrates the best of German-Jewish synagogue music, with gorgeous musical settings by Lewandowski, Sulzer, Weil and others as we simultaneously honor and mourn the lives and institutions destroyed over over 80 years ago.

This will be a part of our Friday night service and will be accessible on zoom and livestream. In partnership with Congregation Or Olam.
