Yom HaShoah Observance

On this Night of Remembrance, we will pay tribute to those who perished in the Holocaust and honor the heroism of those who survived.

Through music and song, poetry and stories, candle lighting and prayer, we will assure that the world will never forget! We must remember for tomorrow and carry their stories forward.

The evening will feature Cantor Malachi Kanfer with the Kol Rinah Choir and members of The Holocaust Remembrance Committee. With special guest JACK HERSCH who will speak about his father David who spent nearly a year in the Mauthausen Nazi Concentration Camp slaving in its granite mines, and then escaped twice near the end of the year.

Jack is a journalist and an expert in the field of distressed and bankrupt companies. He is the author of Death March Escape: the Remarkable Story of a Man who Twice Escaped the Nazi Holocaust, winner of the 2019 Spirit of Anne Frank Human Writes Award.
