The SPS Young Professional community is excited to open up an inaugural Grief Group for young people who have experienced the loss of an immediate loved one (parents, significant other, sibling, child). Our first gathering will be November 29, the second night of Chanukah and on the heels of Thanksgiving. We know that the holidays bring up many memories and emotions, and we hope people come ready to be amongst others, and to share as much as they're comfortable.

This group is open to all NY-based young Jews! We will begin as a virtual gathering space to get to know one another and start to build a sense of community, and we hope we will grow from there. The group will be facilitated by Benjy Forester, the SPS Rabbinic Intern, who served as a Chaplain Intern at Northwestern Hospital.
